Webtours of Mission: Algebra
You are invited to a one-hour webtour of Mission: Algebra, a new professional development online resource developed by TERC and NEIRTEC. Mission: Algebra focuses on classroom examples of technology use in the middle grades mathematics classroom. The webtour is specifically designed to meet the needs of leaders of professional development for mathematics teachers. By clicking on the link below, you will be able to see and hear the recording of one of the webtours conducted by Alan Feldman and Nina Arshavsky in March 2005 with a group of mathematics professional development leaders from around the country. The recording uses Elluminate Live! webconferencing software, described in the top sidebar on the right. The software will be automatically downloaded to your computer when you click on the link below. You may also be prompted to download some helper applications (Sun Microsystem's Java Web Start or OpenJNLP for Mac OS 9), a prerequisite to Elluminate Live! In the bottom sidebar on the right, you’ll find the minimum requirements for you computer to be able use this environment. Start webtour now. Outline of Webtour
The web tour and the resource itself were funded by NEIRTEC under a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, and both are free.
