Minimum Technical Requirements

Make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements.

All recent school computers are likely to work in this environment. Here are the exact specifications: Minimum PC requirements are a Pentium II 266 Mhz with 64MB of memory and a sound card. Minimum Mac requirements are a G3 233 Mhz with 64MB of memory when using OS 9.0 - 9.2 or 128MB of memory when using OS X.

You are invited to a one-hour webtour of Mission: Algebra, a new professional development online resource developed by TERC and NEIRTEC. Mission: Algebra focuses on classroom examples of technology use in the middle grades mathematics classroom. The webtour is specifically designed to meet the needs of leaders of professional development for mathematics teachers.

By clicking on the link below, you will be able to see and hear the recording of one of the webtours conducted by Alan Feldman and Nina Arshavsky in March 2005 with a group of mathematics professional development leaders from around the country. The recording uses Elluminate Live! webconferencing software, described in the top sidebar on the right.

The software will be automatically downloaded to your computer when you click on the link below. You may also be prompted to download some helper applications (Sun Microsystem's Java Web Start or OpenJNLP for Mac OS 9), a prerequisite to Elluminate Live!
